Day Two: Sheki to Gabala to Baku

The drive from Sheki to Gabala takes approximately 1.5 hours through mountain foothills — consistently scenic and entirely comfortable. In Gabala, the Tufandagh cable car is the morning priority — climbing through forest to dramatic Caucasus peaks, with the option to reach Sleeping Beauty Peak for a panorama that justifies the entire day. Nohur Lake provides the midday pause — extraordinarily clear water, paddleboats available, and a calm that city travelers find restorative.
