Exact Timing — The Blue Hour Window
The difference between a good Flame Towers photograph and a great one is often 20 minutes. The best photography window is blue hour: 20 to 30 minutes after sunset, when the sky retains a slight blue-purple tone. In this window, the sky is not black (which makes the towers look isolated) and not bright (which washes out the display). The balance between sky tone and tower illumination is at its most photogenic. After 30 minutes past sunset, the sky goes fully dark — the towers look great but the blue hour magic is gone. Set an alarm for sunset time and be in position 15 minutes before.
